Day 1; Arrive NBO Apt, meet/transfer to a city hotel
TBA  Arrive Nairobi Airport
Meet/greet by our representative and introduced to your safari driver guide.
Then transfer to Boulevard Hotel for check in.
A 3* hotel located in the Central of Nairobi City.
Lunch own account.    Rests of the afternoon spend at leisure to unwind up at the hotel.
Dinner on own arrangement.

Overnight at Boulevard Hotel  

Day 2; Aberdares <NBO – Aberdares; approx. 180km, approx. 3 – 3.5hrs drive by road>
0700    Breakfast at your hotel.
0800    Your safari driver guide will pick you up and head to Aberdares Ranges.
1230     Approximate arrival at Aberdares Country Club a base hotel for The Ark for your lunch.
Afternoon transfer to The Ark by the lodge shuttle.

The Ark is a unique concept whereby animals come to drink water at the water hole below the Ark Tree lodge and guests watch the animals from the comfort of their verandah.  Note; there are no Game drives while staying The Ark

Dinner & Overnight at The ARK

NB – Small luggage allowed at The Ark, rest is left at the base hotel and retrieved the following day!

• Children aged under 6 years are not allowed at The Ark without prior arrangements.

Day 3; Lake Elementaita <Aberdares – Lake Elementaita; approx. 230km, approx. 4hrs drive>

0700    Breakfast at The Ark.
0800    Depart and head to the base hotel to rejoin your safari driver guide then to the Rift Valley, Lake Elementaita.

Drive via Thomson Falls Detour of the falls.

1200                Approximate arrival at Sentrim Lake Elementaita Lodge for check in, freshen up
Lunch at the lodge
Rests of the afternoon spend at leisure to unwind up

Available on request and payable at extra cost; Game drive at nearby Lake Nakuru National Park; Entry fees payable, per adult aged over 18yrs per entry USD70   / Per person aged below 18yrs per entry USD40
These can be arranged / paid locally at extra charges

Dinner and overnight at Sentrim Lake Elementaita Lodge or similar

Day 4; Masai Mara – Lake Elementaita – Masai Mara; approx. 280km, approx. 5.5hrs drive

0600   Breakfast at your lodge
0700     Depart and head to the famous Masai Mara game reserve
Drive via farmlands/settlements inhabited by the Masai community.
1300    Approximate arrival at Sentrim Mara Camp for check in, freshen up
Lunch at the lodge / or camp
1600    Afternoon game drive in the plains of Masai Mara in search of wildlife and sunset views.

1830    Return to the tented camp after game drive for dinner and overnight.

1930    Dinner and thereafter overnight Sentrim Mara Camp or similar

Day 5;  Masai Mara

0600 Wake up to another delightful morning in the bush.
0630     Depart for an early morning game drive.
Early morning are lovely moments to see the nocturnal animals trying to get the last catches before they go to sleep.   These also best moments to see the glorious sun as it rises.

0830     Return to the camp/lodge for buffet breakfast.
1000 – 1200hrs; This morning spend at leisure
1230     Have lunch at the camp’s dining room.
After lunch relax before getting ready for afternoon game drive.
1600     Depart for an afternoon game drive
1830     Return to the lodge/camp dinner an over night

1930     Dinner and thereafter overnight at Sentrim Mara Camp or similar

Or Alternatively; You can opt for a full day game drive to track the wildlife with packed lunches.

Later on return to the camp at around 1700hrs to freshen up.

Day 6; Nairobi/ Departure   <Masai Mara – NBO; approx. 280km, approx. 6hrs drive by road>

0600     Breakfast at the camp.
0700     Pick up by your safari driver guide and transfer to Nairobi.
1300      Approximate arrival into the city of Nairobi.   Lunch on own arrangements.

After lunch, dropped at the airport for onward home bound flight.
